STORE MANAGER- EAST HAMPTON:
General purpose of the position: responsible for the strategic development and daily operations of the Milly East Hamptons location.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Achieve store and personal sales goal

  • inspire others to do as you do, always providing the Best Customer Experience by going above and beyond in all matters

  • develop strategic plan to grow the business through outreach, sales development skills, and proper merchandise assortments and achieve store sales plan.

  • hire, train and motivate a qualified sales team that effectively represents and communicates the Milly brand to our customers

  • create positive relationships in the community that result in business generation and awareness of the Milly store and brand

  • provide specific development for the assistant manager and sales associates by assigning accountabilities and training with consistent follow-up and feedback

  • ensure that a gracious and respectful environment is maintained at all times

  • analyze and react to business trends regarding assortment, communicating sell-through deficiencies and recommending solutions

  • ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained at all times

  • perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers and securing facility

  • ensure appropriate sales floor coverage by reviewing store schedule and adjusting as necessary to meet the needs of the business

  • supervise operational responsibilities to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping and receiving

  • monitor loss prevention to protect the company’s inventory and assets

  • achieve company profit goals including expense control, markdowns, inventory maintenance and shortage targets

  • Education, experience and skills required:

  • minimum 3 years’ experience in comparable retail environment college degree

  • strong leadership qualities and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and our customer base

  • ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business

  • comfort in making decisions and mediating conflict within a team-environment

  • available to work store schedule, as needed, including evenings and weekends

  • standing for extended periods of time and able to safely lift boxes up to 40 pounds

  • comfortable with pos equipment

  • proficient in windows-based software such as excel, word and outlook

  • ASSISTANT MANAGER AND/OR SUPERVISOR- EAST HAMPTON:
    General purpose of the position: responsible for the strategic development and daily operations of the Milly East Hamptons location and supporting the Store Manager of location.

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Achieve store and personal sales goal

  • maximize individual sales performance through product knowledge, clientele development and reviewing individual transactions statistics (adt, conversion, % to plan) on a regular basis

  • inspire others to do as you do, always providing the Best Customer Experience by going above and beyond in all matters

  • support strategic plan to grow the business through outreach, sales development skills, and proper merchandise assortments and achieve store sales plan

  • train, develop and motivate a qualified sales team that effectively represents and communicates the Milly brand to our customers

  • create positive relationships in the community that result in business generation and awareness of the Milly store and brand

  • partner with SM to assign accountabilities and training to senior members of sales team and deliver consistent follow-up and feedback

  • ensure that a gracious and respectful environment is maintained at all times

  • analyze and react to business trends regarding assortment, communicating sell-through deficiencies and recommending solutions to SM

  • ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained at all times

    General purpose of the position: responsible for building relationships with clients and assisting team in the achievement of the store sales plan. Accountable for the development of individual business through the use of enhanced selling skills, exceptional customer service and client book.

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Achieve personal sales goal

  • maximize individual sales performance through product knowledge, clientele development and reviewing individual transactions statistics (adt, conversion, % to plan) on a regular basis

  • lead by example in all customer interactions and relationships

  • support on-line sales by locating merchandise for the customer that is not available in the store

  • strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with clients on the phone and in-person

  • inspire others to do as you do, always providing the Best Customer Experience by going above and beyond in all matters

  • maximize individual sales performance through product knowledge, clientele development and reviewing individual transactions statistics (adt, conversion, % to plan) on a regular basis

  • understand, communicate and exemplify the Milly aesthetic, brand philosophy and lifestyle to the sales team and customer

  • consistently presents oneself in professional dress code keeping the Milly aesthetic in mind every day from head and toe

  • professional, can-do attitude with peers and subordinates. Maintain all selling floor, stock areas and visual displays by actively partnering w/ GM with merchandising decisions

  • creates strong relationships with corporate partners and community

  • accurate processing of all POS transactions, processing shipment, packaging customer FedEx packages, logging repairs and damages. assumes responsibility for inventory integrity, pricing and receiving accuracy, reporting discrepancies to Store Manager

  • CLIENT SPECIALIST ROLE:
    Client Specialist role available at the MILLY Madison Avenue boutique! We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1-2 years retail apparel experience preferably with a high-end retailer. Candidate must possess strong communication and customer service skills. Manage a personal client book and process register transactions. Must have a personal sense of style that reflects the Milly "lifestyle" and have knowledge of current trends in the market.
